At Awards Club, we make the ordering process simple and straightforward. Here’s how it works:
1. Get Your Team Info Together
Before placing an order, it’s a good idea to gather all the necessary details for your team’s plaques. We’ll need the following information:
- Team Sheet: Please provide a full team sheet that includes each player’s number, full name, age group, and any additional information you’d like displayed on the plaques, such as position, nickname, or special recognition. Download an Excel template here.
- Photos: A clear head-and-shoulder photo of each player is required. For best results, the child should be facing forward with a plain background, ideally a white-coloured wall. We recommend avoiding dark backgrounds, especially when the child has dark hair, as it makes photo editing difficult. Higher resolution photos (at least 2000px x 3000px portrait) are preferred, but don’t worry if they aren’t perfect—just turn up the resolution setting on your phone. We suggest having one parent take all the photos at a training session or game for consistency.
- Club Badge or Logo: Please provide a high-resolution club logo, preferably a vectorised PDF (what is a vectorised PDF?). If that’s not possible, we can also work with large JPEG or PNG files.
2. Submit Your Order
Once you have all the information, simply email us or use our online order form to get started. You can attach the team sheet, photos, and logos directly to the email. If the files are too large, we recommend using WeTransfer, which allows up to 2GB of files to be sent for free.
After we receive your order, we will review all the details and photos and let you know if any adjustments are needed before moving forward.
3. Approval and Delivery
We’ll send you a design proof for approval. Once you’ve approved it, our team will get to work on your plaques. Our standard delivery turnaround time is 10-14 days from the date of proof approval. If you’re in a rush, we can offer an express service at an additional cost—just let us know if you need this option when placing your order.
4. Payment
Once you have sent your information and photos to use, we will issue you with an invoice for payment. Please note that payment in full must be made before we start work on your plaques.
