Pecking Order’s Nest Box Pads are made from Great Lakes Aspen excelsior wood fibers adhered to a kraft paper backing. The excelsior fibers allow wet droppings to settle down and away from the hen and her eggs. The freshly laid eggs remain on top, not buried, so eggs are easier to gather. The 13” x 13” pads fit inside most chicken nest boxes and make cleaning the next box faster and easier than with pine shavings, straw, or sand.
