The bond is formulated to eliminate uneven edge breakage or chipping on the wheel edge. This technology advancement improves operator safety by reducing high energy debris during the grinding process, eliminates the need to dress the wheel to regain a workable edge, and provides longer wheel life and increased consistency. Aluminum oxide grains provide a consistent cut-rate when grinding metal. The flat profile of the wheel in combination with a depressed center allows for a wide range of grinding angles (0-45). These 1/4 inch grinding wheels are ideal for heavy stock removal, removing cracks and surface imperfections, blending parting lines, removing flashing on edges of castings with a right angle grinder.
