Simply turn the desired time up and the timer runs immediately. The small display rotates with you and shows the countdown time. The red LED light pulsates. When the selected time is reached, the LED light flashes and a beep reminds you to stop the brewing process. To end the alarm, the timer is turned to the neutral side.
