- The handle is made from the same glass as the body of the pot. Its design and connection to the body means it keeps cool enough to make pouring easy. If you feel it is too warm, it's easy to grasp it with a potholder, dishtowel or oven mitt.
- This charming tea brewer is designed as a teapot rather than a tea kettle. That means it's not intended to be used on the stovetop, like a pot or whistling kettle. Make sure it is room temperature before pouring the water into the infuser basket.
- Designed to hold up to 40 fluid ounces of tea, enough for three to four mugs’ worth of tea. Or, if you prefer a classic teacup, plenty for you and two friends to have two full cups each. The included cozy will keep the pot warm as you all catch up.
- The steel infuser basket is sized to rest comfortably on the glass lip of the pot's opening. The metal lid fits securely into the top of the infuser, so it won't slide or leak scalding water as you pour.

- Both the glass and stainless steel are top-rack dishwasher safe. For best product life, hand wash and dry completely before putting away. Make sure to avoid exposing a still hot pot to cold water, and an icy cold pot to hot water to prevent cracking.

- Microwave safe! Avoid dirtying more dishes than you have to and save brewing time by popping the teapot into the microwave. Make sure to remove the basket and lid ahead of time. The handle may be hot, so remove it from the microwave carefully.
- Makes excellent cold brewed tea. Just add tea and water, and place in the refrigerator to slow-steep to perfection. If your tea requires hot water, make sure the pot has cooled to room temp after adding to the pot and before putting in the fridge.
