Stanley S421 All-Purpose RTV Silicone Sealant is a professional-grade, one-component silicone caulk developed for sealing joints, seams and gaps across a variety of household, construction and repair applications. Its acetoxy-cure formula begins reacting after application and cures into a flexible silicone seal that can accommodate normal movement between adjoining surfaces. The cured seal helps resist exposure to water, humidity, changing temperatures, aging and discoloration, making the product suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects. Stanley S421 can be used around sinks, countertops, bathtubs, showers, windows, doors and other areas where a flexible waterproof seal is required. It adheres to a range of non-porous materials, including glass, ceramic, porcelain, enamel, aluminum, stainless steel and coated wood. For best results, remove loose material and old sealant before application. Make sure the surface is clean, completely dry and free from grease, dust and contaminants. Apply the sealant evenly with a compatible caulking gun and tool the bead before a surface skin begins to form. Allow sufficient curing time before exposing the sealed area to water or regular use. Recommended application and surface temperature: 41°F to 104°F. Store unopened cartridges in a cool, dry environment between 41°F and 77°F.
