Shin-Etsu PRIMER-NO.18B Primer for Stainless Steel and Glass

Shinetsu PRIMER - NO.18B is a type of silicone adhesive primer. Appearance: reddish-brown. It is suitable for bonding silicone rubber with metals such as aluminum, iron, and stainless steel, as well as materials like plastics and fiberglass. It can be used in the roller industry for bonding silicone rubber with metal cores and is applicable to all products that bond silicone with metal. Application method: Apply 18B to the substrate using brush coating or dipping methods, and let it cure completely at room temperature for 30-45 minutes; if heated to 105-150°C, it can cure in 10-30 minutes. Product advantages: In the roller industry, it provides excellent bonding between silicone rubber and metal cores, preventing issues such as delamination, bubbling, or uneven thickness. Furthermore, the adhesion between silicone rubber and metal lasts longer compared to traditional adhesives, resulting in improved effectiveness.
