This rear auxiliary AC line set is designed EXCLUSIVELY for SHORT WHEELBASE (SWB) models on the GMT900 platform. This does NOT fit long wheelbase models. Compatible with ALL engine options: 4.8L Vortec V8, 5.3L Vortec V8, 6.0L Vortec V8 (Hybrid), and 6.2L Vortec V8 (Escalade/Yukon Denali). Works with both 2WD and 4WD models equipped with rear auxiliary air conditioning (RPO C69).
• Manufacturer Part Number: 15-33439 19257317 19257318 YTE33439. This is a complete rear AC line set that replaces both the high-pressure (liquid) line and low-pressure (suction) line running from the front AC system to the rear auxiliary evaporator. This kit includes BOTH lines.
• Pre-Formed Direct-Fit Replacement: Each line is pre-formed to match the path along the underside of the vehicle, from the front AC connections near the firewall, along the right side of the vehicle between the running board mounts and body, to the rear auxiliary evaporator behind the rear axle. Lines feature aluminum tubing with rubber hose sections at connection points for vibration isolation.
• Signs Your Rear AC Lines Need Replacement: (1) Rear AC blows warm air while front AC works fine — the most common symptom of a rear AC line leak. (2) AC system loses refrigerant (R-134a) and needs frequent recharging. (3) Visible green/oily residue or wet spots on the AC lines under the vehicle — refrigerant oil leaks out with the refrigerant. (4) Hissing sound from under the vehicle when AC is running. (5) AC compressor cycles on and off rapidly. (6) Visible rust, corrosion, or pitting on the aluminum AC lines.
• Professional Installation Recommended — AC System Must Be Evacuated and Recharged: Installation requires: (1) Evacuate the AC system using a recovery machine. (2) Raise vehicle on a lift or jack stands. (3) Disconnect old lines at the front connections and rear connections. (4) Take it off mounting clips/brackets holding old lines to the underside of the vehicle. (5) Route new lines following the same path as the originals. (6) Connect new fittings — hand-tighten first, then torque to specification. (7) Replace O-rings at all connection points. (8) Pull vacuum on the AC system for at least 30 minutes. (9) Recharge with the correct amount of R-134a refrigerant.
