A screw and bearing fixer designed to withstand high shear pressures for permanent attachment of threaded and bearing joints. Anaerobic adhesive based on methacrylate esters. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS: A permanent tension against torsion and shear . Its thixotropy and moderate viscosity provide the adhesive with good filler capacity. Suitable for M5 to M16 threaded joints. Suitable as a fixer for bearings and shafts High resistance to: temperature, corrosion, vibration, water, gas, oils, hydrocarbons and most chemicals. It is not possible to disassemble or with difficulty using normal tools. No dripping. Does not migrate after assembly WHERE CAN WE APPLY IT? Special adhesive recommended for: fixing and sealing of metal threaded screws and nuts that should not be disassembled later. The resulting structural union is vibration resistant and eliminates the need to use other mechanical elements for fixing. Retention of bearings and axles where applied tolerances are not tended or not sufficient to make a firm joint. Joints where uniform resistance to breakage and torsion is required.· In assemblies where the disassembly of the components is not tolerated. HOW SHOULD WE USE IT? Although anaerobic adhesives can tolerate a certain degree of surface dirt, they get better results on clean, dry and dirt-free surfaces. We recommend cleaning with CRC industrial Degreaser. Generally, the bond between rough surfaces is stronger than between polished surfaces Apply a drop of CRC Extra Lock on the last thread of the screw or nut, or cover the entire circumference of the shaft or bearing. Assemble and apply the necessary pre-torque in your case. Depending on the nature of the metals and environmental conditions, the pieces can be handled after 15 minutes without affecting the healing of the adhesive. The functional healing time is 1-3 hours and a maximum resistance is obtained after 24 hours. After assembly, any excess adhesive can be removed with a cloth or cellulose. Clean the dry product with CRC Super Gasket Remover, leaving it to act 10 minutes. Rinse with water and remove the remains with a nylon brush.
