Listing is for a brand new single 5.6mm Osram PLTB450B 1.6W 450nm LD Diode. The PLTB450B is the lower divergence alternative to the 445nm M140 or Nichia NDB7875 9mm diodes. Diodes are current hungry and as they heat up their internal resistance is lowered causing them to want to draw more current. Don't attempt to connect the diode directly to a fixed voltage source like a battery.
