- Important Note - Our mattress retainer bar works with most wooden bed frames, like flush wood slat platform beds and solid wood platform beds. Just remember: the two screw holes at each end are 16 cm apart (Center to Center). If you're using a wood slat platform bed, grab a tape measure and check your slats—make sure those two holes will line up with the wood so you can screw it in, IF NOT, this bar won't work for your bed frame.
