• RUBBER-PADDED JAW WON'T SCAR YOUR WHEEL: The textured rubber pad grips the rim flange instead of biting into it, so painted and aluminum alloy wheels come out unmarked. A spare pad is included.
• Our tire bead breaker boasts a sturdy construction made from resilient #45 heat-treated steel, assuring sustained performance over time. • #45 HEAT-TREATED STEEL — USE A 30MM HAND WRENCH ONLY: One-piece screw, spindle and paw with an anti-rust e-coating. Do not use an impact wrench, a cheater bar or an extension: over-torquing is what bends jaws and strips threads.
• WHAT IT WON'T DO: Not for beadlock rims, split rims or lock-ring wheels, run-flat tires, solid tires, ag tires over 42", or commercial 22.5" truck wheels. Breaking the bead is not the same as changing the tire — you'll still need tire spoons to lift the tire off the rim.
