All Factory Image Racing Titanium hardware is machined from Titanium Grade 5 (6AL4V) with rolled threads for additional strength. Titanium Grade 5 (6AL4V) fasteners are equivalent strength to SAE Grade 8 or Metric 10.9 steel hardware. Titanium hardware averages 45 percent lighter than steel while retaining the same strength. Ti 6Al-4V alloy combines high strength, light weight, and high corrosion resistance. It's recommended to use anti-seize compound on the threads & flange to prevent galling or seizing, waterproof grease or threadlocker is also acceptable. Specs - Flange OD: 13mm Hex Nut Head, Hex Size: 10mm Hex Bolt head, Thread Pitch: 1.25mm.
