Its neutral curing, solvent free formula provides strong adhesion to numerous compatible porous and non porous surfaces while remaining highly flexible after curing. Use it for sanitary and connection joints around showers, bathtubs, sinks, backsplashes, bathroom fixtures, tile, ceramic and glass, as well as suitable glazing and weather sealing applications. Kraken Bond silicone caulk forms a 100% waterproof seal and is water ready in as little as 30 minutes, helping reduce downtime in frequently used kitchen and bathroom areas. Its low modulus formulation delivers excellent elasticity with approximately 100% elastic recovery and less than 5% volume change, allowing the cured joint to accommodate normal movement while resisting shrinkage and cracking. The neutral cure system offers low odor and non corrosive performance and can also be used with sensitive metals such as copper, brass and lead. Once cured, the sealant withstands demanding conditions including temperatures from ,40°F to 356°F, as well as exposure to sunlight, rain, snow, ozone, detergents and common cleaning agents. Application is straightforward, make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of grease, attach the nozzle, cut it to the desired bead size and squeeze the tube to apply an even line of sealant. Tool within approximately five minutes for a smooth, professional finish. For best results, follow the manufacturer’s substrate and application recommendations. The product is not paintable and is not recommended for marble, natural stone, concrete or food contact applications.
