The 3-1/2-inch rigid, chrome-plated, heat-treated, tempered-steel shank has full reinforcing bolster at handle for extra strength and for handle impact reinforcement. With an overall length of 7-7/8 inches (200 mm), this awl has internal flanges that provide a solid shank anchor, and the cushion-Grip handle allows for greater comfort.
