Tough Shield® Porch & Floor Coating is a waterborne, acrylic enamel with powerful adhesion that provides a durable finish for porches, patios, walkways, and steps. Tough Shield® has excellent abrasion resistance and wearing qualities. It resists weather and ponding water, and it withstands detergents, oils, grease, and scrubbing. In just 24 hours, Tough Shield® Porch & Floor dries to a pleasant satin finish that is ready for light foot traffic. It's designed for interior and exterior use on properly prepared concrete, masonry, metal, and wood in residential and commercial settings. Do not use on garage floors or car parking surfaces. Before painting, review the Insl-X® Tough Shield® label for proper preparation and application tips. One gallon of Tough Shield® can be applied to 400-500 square feet (37-46 square meters) when surface and air temperatures are above 50 °F (10 °C). Wash brushes, rollers, and other painting tools in warm, soapy water immediately after use.
