The extra-thick PTFE material conforms closely to tapered pipe threads and helps fill small spaces between male and female threaded fittings. Its non-adhesive construction wraps smoothly without sticky residue or messy sealing paste, making installation cleaner and easier. Suitable for compatible metal and plastic threaded fittings used with showerheads, faucets, hose bibs, sprinkler fittings, threaded valves, and general water-line maintenance.
