Made with a heat-shrink polyolefin outer layer and heat-activated adhesive lining, this wrap forms a secure protective layer after heating. Unlike regular adhesive tape, the adhesive activates during the heating process rather than providing instant stickiness before installation. For proper installation, apply the tape to a clean, dry cable surface. Wrap tightly with approximately 50% overlap. For larger or vertical cable runs, temporary fixation such as zip ties or clamps may be used if needed to help hold the wrap in place before heating. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun until the material shrinks and conforms tightly around the cable surface. The adhesive layer activates during heating to help create a sealed insulation layer. Allow the material to cool completely before handling for maximum bonding and stability. Designed for demanding environments, this heat shrink tape provides protection against moisture, dust, abrasion, and everyday wear.
