1708 Fiberglass 45/45 DBM Biaxial 50" Inch Wide - 3 Feet Long - 1 Yard. This 1708 Biaxle fiberglass takes about 0.5 gallons of resin to saturate.The 1708 is backed by a 3/4 oz Chopped Strand Mat on one side for bonding. Biax contains double bias (17 oz) cloth stitched at +/-45 degrees along with one layer of 3/4 oz mat Used where high strength and fast build-up are necessary and ideal for repairs, tabbing and reinforcing Mat in this fabric is stitched and fully compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins

• Used mainly for structural repairs such as doing a transom or stringers on a boat
• 1 yard usually takes about a half gallon of resin to wet it out
