Drill America POU Series 3/4" and 1/2" NPT Carbon Steel Pipe Tap and HSS Drill Bit Sets

This bundle contains two Drill America tap and drill bit sets for creating and repairing NPT threaded pipe connections. The first set contains a 3/4" carbon steel NPT tap and a matching 59/64" high speed steel drill bit with 1/2" shank. The second set has a 1/2" carbon steel NPT tap paired with a 23/32" high speed steel drill bit, also with 1/2" shank. The carbon steel taps in both sets are designed to clean out and re-thread damaged NPT pipe threads. The taps feature straight flutes and right-hand cut design. All taps have a thread chamfer for smooth threading. The black oxide-coated high speed steel drill bits included with the taps are ideal for drilling pipe connections in steel and iron. Their spiral flutes efficiently clear chips from the cut to prevent clogging. The bits have round shanks for use with many drill systems.
