Product Description Kendall™ Calcium Alginate Dressings are produced from natural alginate materials. Designed to absorb exudate and control minor bleeding, these dressings in contact with wound exudate form a gel that provides a moist environment at the wound site. They are indicated for use in the local management of external wounds such as venous stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, post-surgical incisions, second degree partial-thickness burns, and other external wounds presenting moderate to heavy wound exudate.
