- Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate is not only a ULTRA MILD, innovative anionic surfactant based on sustainable, RSPO-certified renewable resources, but also a NEW and SUPERIOR alternative to Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI).
- The product is extremely gentle on the skin and eyes, making it especially suitable for delicate baby skin and formulas for tear free shampoo products. It creates an extremely porous, stable and creamy foam suitable for body wash applications.
- Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate is extremely stable in terms of storage & temperature, and can be used across a wide pH range. It is suitable as an alternative to surfactants containing sulfate.
- D2S is suitable for tear-free formulations. Baby Shampoo with D2S (10.3%) was clinically evaluated with the result that it „does not sting eyes“ and can be claimed „tear-free“. Skin irritation potential of D2S is exceptionally low!
