- WEATHER, UV & TEMPERATURE RESISTANT - Closed-cell acrylic foam construction provides long-term durability and resistance to water, moisture and changing environments. 3M rates 5925 for long-term temperature exposure up to 200°F (93°C) and short-term exposure up to 300°F (149°C). Maintains reliable adhesion for long-term indoor and outdoor applications.
- BONDS TO A WIDE RANGE OF MATERIALS — Excellent adhesion to many metals, painted and powder-coated surfaces, glass and compatible plastics. Great for stainless steel, aluminum, ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate and other properly prepared surfaces used in signage, equipment and industrial mounting.
- CLEAN, PRESS AND ALLOW THE BOND TO BUILD — For best results, apply to clean, dry surfaces at 50°F (10°C) or above and press firmly across the entire bonded area. At room temperature, the adhesive reaches approximately 50% of ultimate bond strength after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours.
