- Important Note: Preheat 3 kg graphite crucibles before use to prevent thermal shock. Do not heat in carbon furnaces or kilns, as oxidation and cracking will occur. Operating temperature ≤ 1800°C. Suitable for smelting gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals, as well as metallurgical processing and metal casting
